It is with an overwhelming joy in my heart that I can proclaim that our two year preparation and waiting journey has come to an end. An absolutely wonderful ending....with a completely adorable three year old smiling faced-boy with welcoming eyes and open arms that give freely give "big squeezes." With a giggle belly and a cute little voice that calls for "Mommy Becca and Daddy Jeff." A precious little gift who completely adores his new brother Andrew and enjoys being with his big sister, Julia. A tender little heart who likes to be reassured that he will be with his new family forever and also likes to remind others frequently that he is "a big boy" (and that he has "good eyes" and that he did that "last morning" and that he "likes cold things":). With the end of one journey, a new one begins. A lifelong journey of bringing love and a forever family to Mathew, this precious child of the God. His Creator who new him even before he was knit in his mother's womb, and knew that he would some day become and remain a Derstine, while still always keeping his Mommy Brenda and the Bowman Family in his heart. What an honor to have the privilege of loving and parenting our new son, Mathew.
